The minutes of the last meeting held july 2, l?2,7 were

asked the City Council to restate its stand in
the !atter of the re.....al of the rails of Central
California Traction Company on Sacra ento Street
as Southern i cific Company demanded that his
firm pay between „30000.00 and 1-;9000.CC for install-
ing trackage to tate the place of that to be re-
moved. _a;mor inn cited the action of the Council
prior to the hearin date in reouesti removal of
C.C.T. tracks but :"a:d..n.= the reservation that
Southern Pacific furnish facilities equal to those
to be removed. The City Clerk was directed to fur-
nish . Hu -hes with a written statement of the
Councils proceedins in this matter.
Robert Dolan and Robert Brix, lessees of Lodi. Air-
port under the City's interim license stated that
=Ft: C?T they had been unable to come to an agreement with
L'a3' the two property owners concerned who still held
out for 325.00 per acre annual rental. It was
decided to await further action by ";ar .assets

This beir.r the time and place set by notice duly
published for the reception of protests against
rezoning the fest one-half of 31oc c 13, Lokeluinne
so that these lots would be in the Commercial
District one, no protests were offered and it
was directed that this :.,atter now be referred to
the Cit;,r Planning Commission for further hearin's.
Superintendent of Streets and ?arks ',T. L. pruner
transmitted a letter from the Department cf :natural
Resources, Division of Parks and beaches stating
that the State had moneys available on a matching
basis for acquisition of inland *arts and would, at
an early date, send representatives to view the
bottom lands of the '_:o%elumne River easterly from
Lodi Lake Park with a view to their consiieraticn
as a state par is site. :-r. Bruner was requested to
continue with ne-otiations and ascertain the terms
and conditions that would apply in case these lands
were found suitable for nark extension.
Reports of the City Engineer, the ?ark r'k and Street
Superintendent and the City Clerk for June were read,
also a short report from the City Plu.mcing inspector
coverin. His collections since he too:: office to
