No action is required. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: In accordance with the Contract Change Order Policy, the City Council is being informed of change orders approved by the City Manager for this project since the August 6, 1997 City Council meeting. The change orders for this project are shown on the attached summary. The original contract for this project was $1,222,300.00. The total cost of change orders to date is $150,271.13, or approximately 12.3 percent of the contract. The project is approximately 100 percent complete. Below is a summary showing descriptions of the change orders. More detailed descriptions and backup information for all of the change orders are available in the Public Works office. Change Order No. 20 - This change order covers the cost of adding an altitude valve, booster pump and high-pressure cut-out modifications, per the City's request. ($18,338.08) Change Order No. 21 - This change order covers the additional cost of adding Cla-val pump 3/8 -inch control valves to the pilot system, per the City's request. ($1,939.00) FUNDING: There are sufficient funds budgeted in the Well 4R Water Storage Tank and Pump Station account to cover these change orders. Funding Available: 112 , Finan# Director AJ Jack L.
