This regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Lodi was called
to order by the bhyor at 8%33 o'clock P.L. of Wednesday. November 1, 1950,
( Councilmen present having been in conference with representatives of Lodi
Child Care Center ). Councilmen Haskell, Preszler, Rias and Tolliver Present,
Councilman Bull absent.
Uiautes of the previous meeting of October 18, 1950 were approved as
written, copies having been mailed each Counciinan prior to this meeting.

mr Weller reported that notices mailed October 6th to property
owners along the &X PIlM-CHURCH-BL SANT alley stating the
cost of improving this alley, bad met with but minority response.
It was agreed that this improvement matter be continued as
the season is now so late that no work can be dome until Spring•

general public and others of service only to such owners, it

Lodi Soroptomist Club by letter endorsed the efforts of the

This subdivision lying along the east line of South Hutchins Street,
a county road, the improvement of that part of this street between
this tractts west boundary and the east line of existing pavement
thereon prseuted a problem affecting access to lots facing this
street. On recommendation of the City Manager and ou motion of
Councilman Preszler, Ginn second, the map was approved with the
distinct understanding Chats
(1) the improvement of the area between this tract and the
existing paving on Hutchins Street would be an obligations
