This regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Lodi called to
order by the ihyor at 8;14 P.hr. of Wednesday, June 6, 1951; Councilmen
Bull, Haskell, Preszler, Rinn and Tolliver (f&yor), present, none absent.

mr Weller presented for Council approval, a sub -lease cover -
Ing the west 30 feet of Lot 6 and all of Lot 7 in Block 10,

the lease on behalf of the City.
POLICE REPORT The monthly report of .the Chief of Police for the month of
MAY 3by was received and read .by the City Iftnager.
Lodi 20-30 Club was granted a refund of $1.00.00 license Yee
RSEIIPID paid by it on account of a recent circus sponsored by this

Resolution No. 1615 wherein Wednesday, June 20, 1951 at 8:15

P.M. and the City Council Chambers is set as the time and
place for a public hearing for the reception of evidence
either for or against the continuance of rent control in Jodi.
This resolution also directs publication of notice of this
hearing in both local newspapers at least ten days before the
date of hearing. Resolution adopted by unanimous vote.

The City Council then proceeded to consider the proposed budget

items explained by him. No positive action being appropriate at
this time, the budget was left in the hands of the City Council.
