At this time, hhyor Tolliver, vacated the presiding officer's abair, statim that, under the provisions of Resolution No. - 1524 of !IL7 3, 1950, his term of office as Lhyor would end E.S.TOLLIVER in April. The City Clerk called for nominations for Lh7or 3.:&rI ^CTRD for the year beginning in April 1951. Councilmn Preszler, ICOR seconded by Councilmn Haskell, nominated LUyor Tolliver to succeed himself. Councilman Rinn moved that nominations - be closed. :notion carried and there beim but one nominee, the City Clerk cast the uranimous ballot for L Tolliver, who then returned to his seat, thanking the other members of the City Council for their confidence. .At 11.20 P.!:.
