City :tanager N.D.Neller reported on his negotiations erith
Glenn L:oGill for the opening of South Fairmont Avenue from
the south line of rhirmout Park Addition to Nest Oak Street.

P.G.& E. City Council demand of the Federal Power CoLmission that the
TEX - CAL Texas -California gas t_ansmi.ssion pipe line be declared a
PIPE T. " common carrier " and that its owners, Pacific Gas and Electric
Company, be compelled to publish rates for gas transmission
therein. The City Council approved Ur Weller's recommendation
that this matter first be taken up with the California Public
Utilities Co:.=ission before any local action is taken..t;o action {
whatever to betaken by the City of Lodi at this time.
Sealed bids opened February 14, 1951 for purchase by the City
DTILITy TRUCK of a 2- ton truck and equipment described in the speeifieat-
AZUMED TO ions adopted by Resolution Pio. 1585 on Ja=ary 17th were then

for the body and equipment at $4,979.66 by the adoption of
Resolution of award No. 1589, introduced by Councilman Haskell,

22 - 23rd.
