This regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Lodi held
begi L-ing at 8:08 P.!.', of :lednesday, T=ruary 16, 1952; Councilmen Preszler,
Rina and Mayor Tolliver present at roll -call; Councilman Haskell appeared
at 8:38 PJA.; Councilman Bull absent.
'The minutes of the previous meeting of January 2nd, 1952 were approved
as written and mailed.

A resolution of the City Council of the City of Long Beach,

On the reem-z:mendation of the City Planning Corrission,

A public hearing was also set for February 6th on the

EMM -STEAD neighboring properties. This lot is Inst of Cherokee
Lane and North of Lockeford Road and contains 9.54
acres. Its west 200 feet is now Industrially Zoned.
Seating for Baseball Park:'r Weller stated -that the
San Francisco Seals had some 1800 seats in good
condition in the San Francisco ball park that they
would sell for $12,500.00 F.O.B. their ball park.
Ur rd De Benedetti, Recreation Director, stated that
STATING he could have these seats moved to Lodi for $600.00
CFS :&ere additional cost would be entailed in locating
them. It was suggested that an offer of $8,000 be made
to the Seals manager; suggestion approved on motion of
Councilman Preszler, Haskell second, the City Manager to
approve any further action and to check up on the costs
of moving and re -erecting.
At 10:47 o'clock P.M. Councilman Rinn moved adjournment
and the City Council stood adjourned to the time and
place of its next regular meeting, i.e. to February 6th.
