CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS
OCTOBER 20, 1969
An adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Lodi was
held beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October Z0, 1969 in the City Hall
Council Chambers.
ROLL CALL Present: Councilmen - BROWN HUNNELL and
SCHAFFER (Mayor Pro Tempore)
Absent: Councilmen - CULBERTSON and KIRSTEN
Mayor)
Also present- City Manager Glaves and Assistant City
Manager Peterson.
REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER
AWARD - 12 -KV The City Manager presented the bids received for the
TRANSFORMERS 12-kv transiormers for the Utilities Department as
Follows:

The C_ty Manager recommended the award be made to
the low bidder. On motion of Councilman Brown, Hunnell
second. the City Council adopted Resolution No. 3313
awarding the contract for the furnishing of 12-kv trans-
formers to the low bidder, Westinghouse Electric Supply
Corr:panv for a total amount of $42,861.00.

The City Manager recommended that Alternate 3-A
be accepted and the award be made to General
Electric Supply Company, the low bidder. On
motion of Councilman Hunnell, Brown second. the
Council adopted Resolution No. 3314 awarding the
contract for the furnishing of the 15-kv cable to the
low bidder, General Electric Supply Company, for
Alternate 3-A in the amount of $15,334.20.

The City Manager recommended the award be made
to the low bidder. On motion of Councilman Hunnell
Brown second, the Council adopted Resolution No. 3315
awarding the contract for the furnishing of the
capacitors to the low bidder, Westinghouse Electric
Supply for a total amount of $4,221.00.

SPECS - CAR On motion of Councilman Brown, Hunnell second,
UTILITIES specifications for a car for the Utilities Department
DEP E. were approved and advertising for bids thereon
authorized.
ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, Vice Mayor
Schaffer adjourned the meeting at approximately
