HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - June 3, 1970CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF LODI CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS JUNE 3, 1970 A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Lodi was held beginning at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Jure 3, 1970 in the City Hall Council Chambers. ROLL CALL Present: Councilmen - EHRHARDT, HUGHES, KATNICH, and SCHAFFER (Mayor) Absent: Councilmen - KIRSTEN Also present: City Manager Glaves, Assistant City Manager Peterson, City Attorney Mullen and Public Works Director Jones. PLEDGE Mayor Schaffer led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. MINUTES On motion of Councilman Ehrhardt, Katnich second, the Council approved the Minutes of May 6, 1970 as written and mailed. PUBLIC HEARINGS CAPELL MANOR Notice thereof having been mailed to property LIGHTING DIST. owners and also published and posted in ASSESSMENT accordance with lav, the Mayor called for CONFIRMED the public hearing on the assessment for the Capell Manor Street Lighting District. RES. NO. 3386 Mr. J. D. Reiswig, 749 South Hutchins Street, questioned why the light standards had not been placed where originally planned. Mr. Glaves explained that the City had not been aware at the time the petition for formation of the district was circulated that the subdivider had installed conduit for street lights in this subdivision. After this was determined, it had been necessary to relocate some of the light standards. No one else in the audience spoke concerning the matter, and the public portion of the hearing was cicsed. On motion of Councilman Katni.ch, Hughes second, the Council unani- mously adopted Resolution No. 3386 confirming the assessment of $1. 12 per front foot for the Capell Manor Street Lighting District. ADJOURNMENT At 9:15 p.m. the City Council adjourned to executive session to discuss personnel matters.
