A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Lodi waa
held beginning at 8:00 p.m. , Wednesday, September 21, 1977
in the City Hall Council Chambers.
ROLL CALL Present: Councilmer_ - Ehrhardt, Hughes,
Pinkerton and
Katnich (Mayor)
Absent: Councilmen - Katzakian
Also present: City Manager Glaves, Assis-
tant City Manager Glenn, Public Works
Director Ronsko, Community Development
Director Schroeder, City Attorney Mullen,
and City Clerk Reimche.
INVOCATION The invocation was given by Reverend Jame3
Holm, Virewood Community Church.
PLEDGE Mayor Katnich led the Pledge of Allegiance to
the flag.
MINUTES City Clerk Reimche asked that the Minutes of
September 7, 1977 be amended as follows:
Item 6, Page No. 15 Insert figure $3500. 00
On motion of Councilman Pinkerton, Ehrhardt
second, the Minutes of September 7, 1977
were approved as amended.
PROCLAMATION Mayor Katnich proclaimed September 17, 1977
through September 23, 1977 as "Corstituticn
Week" and presented the Proclamaticr. to Mrs.
Clarence Tappen.

City Clerk Reimche, apprised the Council that a
letter dated September 15, 1977 had beet re-
ceived from Mr. Jack C. Dozier, attorney for
Mir Afzal requesting that the hearing set for
September 21, 1977 be -:ontirued fcr a period of
sixty days.,

PLANS 8c SPECS FOR City- Manage_ Glares presented the plans and
"COMMUNITY DRIVE sped- ^_aticxns fcr "Community Drive Storm Drain ,
STORM DRAIN" Vane Street to CocF.ran Road", advising that in
APPROVED, general the work consists of installation of 791 feet
ui 30 -inch storm drain in the Westwiz rl Subdivision
and adjacent developments in conformance with the
:Master Drain Program. The contrast will not be
awarded until the subdivision is approvee.., but be -
c aue the atorrn line should be const-ucted early in
the development of the s,abdivisicl, it is felt wise to
get early Lidding approval.
On cnotio:, of Councilman Ehrhard., Hughes second,
Ccmnnil approved the plans and 5pecificationc for
"Community Dive Storm Drain, Vine Street to
Coc h_a:: Road", and authorized the City Cierk to
advertise for bids thereon.
