Mayor Pro Tempore Murphy Assistant City Manager Jerry Glenn City Clerk Alice Reimche Public Works Administrative Assistant Sharon Blaufus and COG Representative I Paul Herindegui, 717 West Pine Street, Lodi, California, stated he felt there was a need for Dial -A -Ride service on Saturdays. Mr. Herindegui inidicated he was a member of the Senior Citizens Club. . Ms. Shirley Klein, representing the Loel Center of Lodi, complained about the lengthy waiting time being encountered by Dial -A -Ride riders. Betty Harcourt, representing the Community Council, Stockton, California, stated that their agency provides transportation for MediCal patients. Ms. Harcourt stated that she hopes the time will come when their agency can expand on its transportation service. Shirley K1ein,.Loel*Center, suggested that Dial -A -Ride fixed -ride routes be established in advance. Assistant City Manager Glenn talked about the need for companions riding with handicapped. There being no other person wishing to speak on the matter, the public hearing was continued to 8:00 p.m., November 17, 1982 in the City Hall Council Chambers. Attest: Alice M. Reimche City Clerk
