SPECIAL "TOWN HALL" MEETING

Present: Council Members - Mann, Sieglock, Snider and
Pennino (Mayor)
Absent: Council Members - Davenport
Also Present: City Manager Peterson, Assistant City
Manager Glenn, Public Works Director Ronsko,
Street Superintendent Baltzer,
Water/Wastewater Superintendent Forkas, City
Attorney McNatt, and City Clerk Perrin

(STREET DIVIO:ON AND WATER/WASTEWATER DIVISION)
CC -21(b) Mayor Pennino opened the meeting and reminded the audience
of the following guidelines for public input at the "Town
Hall" meetings.
"Specifically, the public is invited to tell the City
Council:
1. What City services do you (the public) feel
could be reduced or eliminated?
2. What ideas do you have for making the City
more efficient?
3. What City services Are you willing to pay
more for in order to maintain them?
4. What City services are you UNWILLING to see
cut, no matter what?"
Mayor Pennino informed the public of the "Town Hall"
Hotline phone number, 333-6896.
Public Works Director Ronsko presented an overview of the
Engineering and Water/Wastewater Division, mission
statement, organization chart and an overview of duties.
Glen Baltzer, Street Superintendent presented a report on
the Street Division and Fran Forkas made a presentation
regarding the Water Division, Wastew..ter Division and White
Slough.

The City Council posed several questions to staff and there
were no persons wishing to speak on the matter.
Mayor Pennino informed the public that the next "Town Hall"
meeting would be on March 30, 1993 regarding the Library
and then on March 31, 1993 would be the Electric Utility
Department. Mayor Pennino also reminded the public that
the City Council meetings beginning April 7, 1993 will be
starting at 7:00 p.m.
ADJOURNMENT Mayor Pennino adjourned the meeting at approximately 10:08
p.m.
