RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt resolution authorizing the City Manager to accept donation to
the Fire Department ($25,000)
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Lodi Police Foundation received a generous donation from an
anonymous donor in support of the Lodi Police and Fire
Departments. Each agency will receive a $25,000 donation which will be transferred from LPF to the City
in the form of grants. The Fire Department's donation will be granted to the Department's trust account.

A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT
DONATION TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the Lodi Police Foundation received a generous donation from an
anonymous donor in support of the Lodi Police and Fire Departments; and
WHEREAS, each agency will receive a $25,000 gift, which will be transferred
from the Lodi Police Foundation to the City in the form of grants; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department's gift will be granted to the Department's trust
account.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lodi City Council that it does
hereby authorize the City Manager to accept the donation to the Fire Department.
