C-25 &M13 the Notice of QryA AMendments " l of Interest Gode for the 2014 Calendar X%ILE@r Govemment Co f t„ ftoon 87306.6 (CA) Accepted the Notice of Draft Amendments to Conflict of Interest Code for the 2014 calendar year per Government Code Section 87306.5. 0 Darrell Fong, Council Member for the City of Sacramento, introduced himself as a candidate for assemblymember of the 9th Assembly District, which incorporates Lodi. John Ledbetter and Josh Newfield, representing the Hutchins Street Square Foundation, announced that the Foundation is returning the long-standing event, Field and Fair Day, on September 1 from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Mr. Ledbetter expressed appreciation to the City and staff for continuing its partnership with the Foundation, which has enabled many fine events to occur at the facility. Mr. Newfield distributed brochures regarding Field and Fair Day and announced that Re -Max is providing a hot air balloon, which will set up at 6:30 a.m. on the west lawn; the gates will open at 7 a.m.; tickets for the Kiwanis breakfast are $6; and admission to the event is $5. The tradition is back Field and Fair Day will return on Monday, September 1, 2014 to the grounds at Hutchins Street Square. This fun -filled family day will revive many traditions from the Field and Fair Days of long ago. The event will feature a hot air balloon launch, pancake breakfast, local entertainment stage, food truck alley, carnival games, bounce houses, explore Lodi, and police/K-9/SWAT demonstrations. THE FIRST FLIGHT Field and Fair Day Have you ever wanted to take a ride in a hot air balloon? We have the perfect opportunity for you to cross another item off your bucket list. The First Flight Raffle enters you into a drawing to take flight with the Re -Max hot air balloon at Field and Fair Day, Monday, Sept. 1. You will arrive bright and early to prepare for the ride of your life and take flight from the west lawn at Hutchins Street Square at 6:30 a.m. For those interested in the First Flight Raffle, tickets are $20 and are available in the HSSF office or through any board member. Last year's winner, Julie Ball, had an incredible experience in the Re -Max balloon while she enjoyed a bird's eye view of Lodi. You must be 18 to ride in the hot air balloon.
