NO. 86-185 The City Council adopted Resolution No. 86-185, providing for an increase in the insurance limits for Dial -A -Ride CC -50(a) vehicles. Council was apprised that the existing insurance limits on Dial -A -Ride vehicles is $500,000 per individual and $1,000,000 per occurrence. This coverage expires December 31, 1986. It is the reccnmendation of the City's .Agent of Record, Jinn Elson, that these limits be increased to $1,000,000 per individual, while retaining the $1,000,000 per occurrence for the caning year. Peterson City Manager RESOLUTION NO. 86-185 A RESOLU'T'ION OF THE LODI CITY COLNCIL Il4�REASING INSURANCE REXIRraMITS FOR DIAL--A-RIDE WHEREAS, the City of Lodi contracts with City Cab Company (the Contractor) for certain services to operate Dial -A -Ride; and WHEREAS, that contract calls for minimmn insurance limits of $500,000/ $1,000,000; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lodi now requires minimum insurarce limits of $1,000,000/$1,000,000; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lodi RESOLVES that the Contractor shall maintain in full force, a general liability policy with limits of $1,000,000/$1,000,000 bodily injury, and $1,000,000 property damage or a $1,000,000 combined single limit. The policy shall contain an additional named insured endorsement naming the City of Lodi as an additional insured. The endorsement shall include the following Language: "Such insurance as i.s afforded by the endorsement for the additional insureds shall apply as primary insurance. Any other insurance maintained by .diee City of Lodi or its officers and employees, shall be excess only and not contributing with the co-insurance afforded by this endorsement." AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Iodi will continue to pay the premium for this insurance coverage.
