Gentlemen:
It has come to my attention that plans say be in the making to renovate
the__iiood Shop Area of the Community Center in Lodi. As you may already
knovr the Union -sponsored Brick and Tile Apprentice. Class is presently
using the facilities for "hands on" instructio:r. Consequently, we are
requesting permission to transfer the clans -to= -#he Auto- Shop Area on the
southwest corner of the property.
Since the City of Lodi has benefited from the "fruits oi eur labor" in -
the past, we feel that continued use of the property as well as further
opportunity to service the Lodi Area would'hel. to contribute to our
promising young Apprentices becoming accomplished Journeyman. Additionally,
we Mould hope to assist with renovating the Community Center as the need
arises.
We kindly thank you for your past assistance and cooperation with us and
look forward to an affirmative response regarding continued use of your
fine facilities.
Sincerely,
Milton E. Stirs
