Stirm, Chairman for the Joint Apprenticeship Committee, Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen, Local No. 12, requesting permission to transfer the Brick and Tile Apprentice Class to the Auto Shop area of the Lodi Community Center Ginet inionLocal No. 22 CA December 3, 1981 Lodi -City C VOcil Ci ty Hall Lodi, CA 95240 Gentlemen: It has come to my attention that plans say be in the making to renovate the__iiood Shop Area of the Community Center in Lodi. As you may already knovr the Union -sponsored Brick and Tile Apprentice. Class is presently using the facilities for "hands on" instructio:r. Consequently, we are requesting permission to transfer the clans -to= -#he Auto- Shop Area on the southwest corner of the property. Since the City of Lodi has benefited from the "fruits oi eur labor" in - the past, we feel that continued use of the property as well as further opportunity to service the Lodi Area would'hel. to contribute to our promising young Apprentices becoming accomplished Journeyman. Additionally, we Mould hope to assist with renovating the Community Center as the need arises. We kindly thank you for your past assistance and cooperation with us and look forward to an affirmative response regarding continued use of your fine facilities. Sincerely, Milton E.
