MEMBERS Council Member pinkerton apprised the Council that UDID
(United Downtown Inprovement District) discussions have
presently reached the point where it is imperative to
have the expertise of a qualified bonding attorney and
other consultants to provide important information
required in the formation of the proposed downtown.
It is therefore requested that the Lodi City Council
appropriate an amount not to exceed $1,000.00 for legal
fees and consultant fees as needed in the formation of
the proposed downtown improvement district.
Following an inquiry, Council was assured by Council
Member pinkerton that this amount would became a cost of
the district and would be so assessed.

Following discussion, on motion of Mayor Pro Tempore
Mizphy, Olson second, the Council appropriated an amount
not to exceed $1,000.00 from the Hotel--btel
Beautification fund for legal fees for a bonding attorney
and consulting fees as needed in the formation of the \
proposed downtown improvement district.
