BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This pick-up truck cab and chassis was approved in the 1982-83 perat ng N - -get as a repl-acement truck for the Animal Control Department. Sealed proposals shall be delivered to the Purchasing Agent at Lodi City Hall, P.O. Boot 320 (221 W. It is recommended that the bid be awarded to the only bidder, Sanborn Chevrolet, Lodi, in the amount of $9,050.71. The bid is within acceptable limits for this type of vehicle. RESOLUTION NO. 82-134 AWARD - CONTRACT FOR ONE MID-SIZE PICKUP TRUCK FOR USE BY THE UTILITY DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened by the City Clerk of this City on November 10, 1982 at 11:00 a.m. for the Contract for one Mid-size Pickup truck for use by the Utility Department as described in the specifications therefor approved by the City Council December 8, 1982.. WHEREAS, only one bid was received, said being as follows: BIDDER AMOUNT Sanborn Chevrolet $9,0-50.71 WHEREAS, it has been determined that. the above bid is a reasonable bid; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award be made; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that award of contract for one Mid-size Pickup Truck be and the same is hereby made to Sanborn Chevrolet, the only bidder, in the amount of $9,050.71.
