5. Established a 35 MPH speed limit on Woodhaven Lane
from Turner Road to Eilers Lane.

SUBJECT: Traffic Controls, Woodlake Subdivision
RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council approve the following traffic
controls at Woodlake North Unit No. 2:
1. Establish "No Parking" on both sides of Woodhaven Lane from
Eilers Lane to 150 ft. south cf Eilers Lane.
2. Establish "No Parking" on the east side of !_ilac Street from
Eilers Lane to 30 ft. north of Eilers Lane.
3. Establish "No P-rking" on the west side of Lilac Street from
Eilers Lane to 60 ft. north of Eilers Lane.
4. Install a "Stop" sign westbound on Eilers Lane at Lilac Street,
5. Adopt a 35 MPH speed limit on Woodhaven Lane from Turner Road to
Eilers Lane,
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Woodhaven Lane and Eilers Lane have been constructed,
replacing Lilac Street within Woodlake North, Unit No. 2. (See Exhibit A)
In order to accomnbdotethru traffic to and from Woodbridge and discourage
traffic on Eilers Lane between Lilac and Lower Sacramento Road, the traffic
controls shown on Exhibit B and listed above, are recommended,
Item 1 is necessary due to the fact that Woodhaven Lane is constructed
to only half of its ultimate width,
Items 2 & 3 are needed to accommodate a short left turn lane on Lilac,
This will allow southbound right -turning vehicles to have a separate lane.
Item 4 provides stop control for westbound traffic on Eilers Lane which
conflicts with the anticipated heavier volume of eastbound traffic
turning left onto Lilac Street,
Item 5 establishes a speed zone midway between the existing 45 MPH zone
on Lower Sacramento Road and the.25 MPH zone on Lilac north of the City
Limits. The proposed 35 MPH zone has not been verified by a radar
survey,. This will be done early next year after the street has been
open for traffic.

No controls are proposed for the segment of Woodhaven Lane north of Eilers Lane.
This dead-end segment has no driveways and will only be used by drivers who intend
to park on the street next to the condominium project presently under construction.
The continuation of the centerline through the intersection from Woodhaven to
Eilers should provide sufficient riga-of-way control.

RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC CONTROLS -
WOODLAKE NORTH UNIT NO. 2 SUBDIVISION
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lodi does hereby
approve the following txaffic controls at Woodlake North Unit No. 2
Subdivision as depicted on Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto and
thereby made a part hereof:
1. "No Parking" on both sides of Woodhaven Lane from
Eilers Lane to 150 feet south of Eilers Lane
2. "No Parking" on the east side of Lilac Street from
Eilers Lane to 30 feet north of Eilers Lane
3. "No Parking" on the west side of Lilac Street from
Eilers Lane to 60 feet north of Eilers Lane
4. Install a "Stop" sign westbound on Eilers Lane
at Lilac Street
5. Establish a 35 MPH speed limit on Woodhaven Lane frau
