CI<1NMISSICN Planning Commission meeting of Novenber 12. 1984:
IISE SST FCR 1. Reca nnended that the Land Use Element of the Lodi
FMIC HEARING General Plan be amended to redesignate a 3.17 acre parcel
at 2430 West Turner Road from Coimercial to Medium
Density Residential, as requested by Dennis Bennett.
2. Recannended that P -D (1), Planned Development District
No. 1 be amended so that the 3.17 acre parcel at 2430
West Turner Road conform to the requirement of the R -GA,
Garden Apartment Residential District rather than the
C -S, Cocnriercial Shopping District as requested by Dennis
Bennett.
3. Recommended that the Negative Declaration as filed by the
Cam pity Development Director be certified as adequate
environmental documentation on the above projects.
On motion of Council h1wt:>er Pinkerton, Olson second, the
heretofore listed items were set for Public Nearing on
Decerber 19, 1984 at 7:30 p.m.

1. Denied the request of Ronald S. Addington on behalf of
Gruzy- Development Carpany - Northern California, to amend
the Land Use Element of the Lodi General Plan by
redesignating Lots 58-61 and 63-71 of Lakeshore Village.
Unit No. 1 and Lot 248, Lakeshore Village, Unit No. 7
from Office Institutional to Camrercial.
2. Took no action on the request of Ronald S. Addington on
behalf of Grupe Development Cmpany - Northern California
to amend P -D (21), Planned Development District No. 21 so
that Lots 58-61 and 63-71 of Lakeshore Village, Unit No.
1 and Lot 248 of Lakeshore Village, Unit No. 7 would
conform to the provisions of the City's C -S, Commercial
Shopping District rather than the R -CP.

3. Certified the filing of a Negative Declaration by the

4. Approved the request of Richard Sanborn on behalf of

acres to an existing 0.50 acre parcel (APN 047-280-04) at
801 East Kettleman Lane in an area zoned C-2, General

The new 0.88 acre site will be used by Wendy's for a fast
food outlet. The original one-half acre parcel was used
by Texaco Oil Carpany for service station purposes.
5. Approved the request of Baurbach s Piazza, Consulting
Engineers on behalf of Donald Leach for a Tentative
Parcel Map/Lot line Adjustment to create Parcels "A". "B"
and "C" from 230 North Stockton Street anti 225, 233, 235
North Washington Street.

FOR ACTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
1. Recommended that the Land Use Element of the Lodi General Plan be
amended to redesignate a 3.17 acre parcel at 2430 West Turner Road
from Commercial to Mediu, Density Residential, as requested by
Dennis Bennett.
2. Recommended that P -D (1), Planned Development District No. 1 be
amended so that the 3.17 acre parcel at 2430 West Turner Road
conform to the requirement of the R -GA, Garden Apartment
Residential District rather than the C -S, Commercial Shopping
District as requested by Dennis Bennett.
3. Recommended that the Negative Declaration as filed by the Community
Developw-nt Director be certified as adequate environmental

63-71 of Lakeshore Village, Unit No. 1 and Lot 248, Lakeshore
Village, Unit No. 7 from Office Institutional to Commercial.
2. Took no action on the request of Ronald S. Addington on behalf of
