NO. 85-160 City Manager Peterson presented the following bids which had been received for Streetlight aml�naires: BIDDER --- AMOUNT General Electric Supply $10,625.44 Westinghouse Elec. FROM: THE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE November 7, 1985 SUBJECT: PURCHASE OF STREETLIGHT LUMINAIRES (UD -E85-13) On Tuesday, November 5, 1985, bids were received for 140 - 100 -watt High Pressure Sodium (EPS) streetlight luminaires. The luminaires will be used in the City's streetligbt conversion program from incandescent to HPS lighting. Based on the bids received, it is recommended that the bid be awarded to the lowest bidder, namely: General Electric Supply Co., Emeryville, CA in the amount of $10,625.44. Electric Utility Director Electrical Engineer RESOLUTION NO.85-160 AWARD - CONTRACT FOR 140 -100 -WATT HIGH PRESSURE SODIUM (HPS) STREETLIGHT LUMINAIRES WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened by the City � Clerk of this City on November 5, 1985 at 11:00 a.m. for the contract for 140 -100 -watt High Pressure Sodium (HPS) streetlight luminairies as described in the specifications therefor approved by the City Council October 16, 1985; and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and thereby made a part hereof: WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the award be made to the low bidder, General Electric Supply Company in the amount of $10,625.44. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that award of contract for 140 -100 -watt high Pressure Sodium (:IPS) streetlight luminaires be and the same is hereby made to General Electric Supply Company,the low bidder, in the amount of $10,625.44.
