RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO
ABANDON EASPTMv'T LOCATED
WITHIN AND NORTH OF NOMA
RANCH
RES. NO. 85-163 A Resolution of Intention to abandon easements within and
north of Noma Ranch which were once used to serve the
Ncna home and the property to the north was presented for
Council's approval.
The easement abandonment has been request -ed by the owners
of Nema Ranch Subdivision in order to clear the Jots
within this su�19ivision of the encumbrance of an easement
which is no longer used.
The descriptions of the two old (1924 and 1929) easements
make it impossible to pinpoint the exact locations of the
easements now that the poles and lines have been removed.
These facilities were removed prior to the installation of
the subdivision improvements.
Council adopted Resolution No. 85-163 - Resolution of
Intention to abandon easements within and north of Noma
Ranch, referring the matter to the Planning Commission, ai,.0
setting the matter for Public Hearing at the December 18,
1985 Regular Council Meeting.

SUBJECT: Resolution of Intention to Abandon Easements Within and North of
Noma Ranch
RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council adopt a resolution of intention to
abandon easements which were once used to serve the Noma home and the property to
the north, refer it to the Planning Commision, and set the matter for Public
Hearing on December 18, 1985.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The easement abandonment has been requested by the
owners of Noma Ranch subdivision in order to clear the lots within this
subdivision of the encumbrance of an easement which is no longer used. The
descriptions of the two old (1924 and 1929) easements make it impossible to
pinpoint the exact locations of the easements now that the poles and lines have
been removed. Thece facilities were removed prior to the installation of the
subdivision improvements.
Funds have been provided for the necessary advertising, and PG&E, Pa;ific Bell,
King Videocable Co, and City utilities have been notified of the proposed
abandonment app their approval will be secured prior to the final action.
