Budgeted Fund: Water Capital Outlay
Amount Budgeted: $175,000
Fund Project Cost to Date: $72,000'=
RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements for "Well #21
Pump & Motor, 13 Lower Sacramento Road," and direct the Public Works Director to
file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to Noack Pump Co. of Stockton
on July 12, 1985, in the amount of $14,029.16. The contract has been completed
in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by the City
Council.
The contract completion date was September 30, 1985, and the actual completion
date is November 11, 1985. The final contractprice was $13,029.16. The dif-
ference between the contract amount and the finai contract price is mainly due
to a penalty for pump performance as provided in the specifications.
