COMMISSION Commission meeting was presented.
ITEMS OF 1. Tabled the request of Lawrence St. Germain and
INTEREST Robert Herrington for a Use Permit for an electronic
games center (i.e. video entertainment center) at
108-c Turner Road in the Arbor Shopping Center in
an area zoned P -D (17), Planned Development District
No. 17, because Barry Spivak, owner of the Shopping
center, was opposed to the request.
2. Denied the request bf Rex Martin for a Use Permit
for an electronic games renter (i. e. pinball and video
arcade) at 20 North 3chool Street in an area zoned
C -Z. General Commercial.
3. Conditionally approved the request of Charles Taormina
for a Use Permit to use a bus as a permanent sandwich
shop at 223 North Church Street in an area zoned C-2.

of Zoning Adjustment approve the request of Wayne
Craig on behalf of Jungle Growth Products for a Use

Lower Sacramento Road, 2800 feet north of Harney
Lane in an area zoned GA -40. General Agricultural.
_= 8. Reaffirmed its action of September 14, 1981 and
recommended that the San Joaquin County Board of
Zoning Adjustrnent denv the request ox John Taylor
Fertilizers for a Use Permit to establish a fertilizer
distribution plant at the west end of Winery Road,
2 300 feet west of the State Route 99 frontage road -;n
an area zoned GA -40, General Agricultural.

nF INTEREST TO THE CITY COUNCIL
1. Tabled the request of Lawrence St. Germain and Robert Herrington for a
Use Permit for an electronic ga.ies center (i.e. video entertainment center)

Planned Development District No. 17, because Barry Spivak, owner of the

h. Conditionally approved the request of Luis Arismendi on behalf of Grupe
Communities for a Tentative Subdivision Map for Pheasant Ridge, a 5.245
acre, 49 -unit condominium project proposed for Lot 57, Lakeshore Village,
Unit Al (i.e. northwest corner of South Mills Avenue and Sandcreek Drive)
;n an area zoned P -D(20 , Planned Development District No. 21.
5. Conditionally approved the request of Luis Arismendi on behalf of Grupe
Communities for a Use Permit for Pheasant Ridge, a 5.245 acre, 49 -unit
condominium project proposed for Lot 57, Lakeshore Village, Unit #1, in
an area zoned P-0(21), Planned Development Distract No. 21.
6. Conditionally approved the request of Wayne Craig on behalf of M C S P
Investments for a Tentative Subdivision Map for an industrial/cocxnercial
condominium pro ect st 1901 South Stockton Street (i.e. Lot 1, Maxwell
Industrial Park in an area zoned M,-2, Heavy Industrial.
7. Recommended that the San Joaquin County Board of mooning Adjustment
approve_ the request of Wayne Craig on behalf of Jung:e Growth Products
for a Use Permit to allow plant food manufacturing in the existing Happy
Holmes Farm buildings on the west side of Lower Sacramento Road, 2800 feet

Taylor Fertilizers for a Use Permit to establish a fertilizer di.,tribu-

Route 99 Frontage Road in an area zoned GA -4.0, General Agricultural.
