ITEMS OF INIEREST 1. Conditionally approved the request of Lucky Stores, Inc.
and Euclid Shopping Center for a Use Permit to Gemlish
and replace the former Albertson's Market with a new
Lucky's Food Store at 340 West Kettleman Lane in an area
zoned C -S, Commercial Shopping.
In a related item, certified the filing of a a gative
Declaration by the CoemLuuty Development Director on the
above project.

Lrtermined that a Zoning Hardship existed and approtr-,i
request of Mike Stiehr for a Zoning Variance to reduce
the required minimum lot width from 50 feet to 45 feet
at 316 and 3165 East Elm Street to permit existing lots
to be used for multiple -family purposes in an area zoned
R -M, High Den=sity Multiple Family Residential.

SUBJECT: PLANNING COMMISSION ACTIONS - NOVEMBER 8, 1982
OF INTEREST TO THE CITY COUNCIL
1. Conditionally approved the request of Lucky Stores, Inc. and
Euclid Shopping Center for a Use Permit to demolish and replace
the former Albertson's Market with a new Lucky's Food Store at
340 West Kettleman Lane in an area zoned C -S, Conmercial Shopping.
In a related item, certified the filing of a Negative Declaration
by the Community Development Director on the above project.
