The matter was introduced by Public Works Director Ronsko who presented diagram depicting the proposed wendmantsO detailing the proposed amendments, and responding to questions as were posed to Council. There were no persons in the audience wishing to speak on the matter, and the public portion of the hearing was closad. Cn motion of Council Me Snider, Murphy second, Oouncil introduced Ordinance No. 1278 adopting xrxerous amendwnts to the Specific Plan of Lowes -Sacramento Noad between Kettleman Lane and Lodi Avenue as hexe-tofore set forth. The motion was carried by unanimous vote. a) b) c) That Tbkay Street be shown on the west side.of,'Ibwer Sacramento Road with a right -of --4W width of 55 feet; That a stagnant be added to the plan that indicates the r. approved center median openings at this time are Kettleuen Lane, Vine Street and Lodi Avenue; That dk-- sidewalk dimension of 10 feet be revised to 5 feet in residential areas and 7 feet in coamericil, institutional and reverse frontage single-family residential; lu d) That the following stats-nent be added to note No.. 3 an the Specific Plant "Fencing at right -of -may will be adjacent to only reverse frontage. single-fanxily residential development;" e) That "Denied Access" in the legend be changed to read "Denied Vehicular Access"; and f) that the following ca.mmt be added to the specific plan: "Fencing and corner cutoffs at intersections shall be approved by the Public j%brks Departmert. Authority - Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 3 (ommiencing with Section 65450) of Title 7 of tl-,-- Govexmmetnt Code of this State of California and 1=sUaalt to that certain General Plan, as amended, for the City of Lodi adopted by the City Council, Resolution No. 1885 on October 5,, 1955, the specific plan for Lower Sacramento Ptoad between Kettleman Lane and Lodi Avenue, Lodi, as adopted by Resoluticm No. 3665 on August 16, 1972 is hereby amended. The Specific Plan adopted hereby includes the regulations prescribed by this Ordinance and includes a certain drawing attached to this Ordinance. Section 2. Purpose - It is hereby declared that this Specific Plan is adopted to provide for and protect the health, safety, and convenience and welfare of the citizens of the City of Lodi. Section 3. Description - Drawing 72 D 70 displays the plan view of lawier oto Road, Kettleman Lane to Lodi Avenue. Section 4. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed insofar as such conflict may exist. Section 5. This Ordinance shall be published one time in the "Lodi Life and Times" a once a week newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Lodi, and shall be in force and take effect thirty days from and after its Passage and approval. Iiecontrended that the following its be made to the Specific Plan of Lower Sacramento Road between Kettleman Lane and Lodi Avenue. a. that Tokay Street be shown on the west side of Lower Sacramento Road with a right-of-way width of 55 feet= b. that a statement be added to the plan that indicates the approved center median openings at this time are Kettleman Lane, Vine Street and Lodi Avenue; c. that the sidewalk dimension of 10 feet be revised to 5 feet in residential areas and 7 feet in - commercial, institutional and reverse frontage single-family residential; d. that the following statement be added t/.) note No. 3 on the Specific Plan: "Fencing at right-of-way will be adjacent to only reverse frontage single-family residential derrelcpaenti" e. that "Denied Aooess" in the legend be changed to read "Denied Vehicular Access"; and f. that the following comment be aided to the specific plan: "Fencing and corner cutoffs at intersections shall be approved by the Public Works Department." All interested persons are invited to present their views either for or against the above proposal. Written statements may be filed with the City Clerk at any time prior to the hearing scheduled herein and oral statements may be made at said hearing.
