During those years my staff has handled over 1,000 cases for senior citizens. We have provided various services for seniors including Social Security, Franchise . Tax Board, Consumer Affairs, Ombudsman, etc. With these services in mind, I.would like to see us working directly .: with the Senior Information Center housed at Hutchins Street Square. . The sharing of office. -space would be beneficial to both senior citizens .and the Senior` Information Center.; The ,.} Center would 'have -the needed office furniture; and the senior citizens would have immediate access to state ' yrs - services. - After ,checking with the Assembly Rules Committee,,I learned that: eight Assembly members currently rent from local governments. Terms of the lease agreement can be worked out 3 according to both entity's guidelines. Please advise,me of your decision as soon as possible.
