Honorable Members of the Lodi City Council:
Inasmuch as the Central Lodi improvement Committee (CLIC) has virtually reached
its objective of 60% signup of downtown property owners in favor of the proposed
downtown assessment district, we would wish our City to join these property
owners and CLIC in bringing the much needed and desired improvements into being.
This entalls our City accepting the benefit assessment for those properties
owned by the City, which are within the proposed assessment district area, in
accord with the formula set forth by the consultants.
The properties involved are:

C1ty Council -taken at its regular meeting of
November 4, 1981, whereby, following your presenta-
tio-a asking the City of _Lodi to be included in. the
Downtown Assessment District, the matter was referred
to staff for additional information and report to
Council at a future meeting.

this matter will again appear on the Council
