WHEREAS, the repeal of the Davis -Brown Act will save the taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars each year. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lori does hereby urge the repeal of the Davis -Brown Act thereby returning to responsible local government officials the power to make those policy decisions about the use of local tax dollars even when federal funding is involved.
