T% FROM THE CITY COUNCIL THE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE ..JIT?\(`,IL CnNIMITNICaTIt .. _ DAT, . s vc Or ttober 21, 1987 APPROVE REQUEST OF VETERANS OF FO-EIGN WARS, LODI POST 1948, TO TIE RED RIBBONS ON ALL TREES ON SCHOOL STREET BETWEEN LODI AVENUE AND LOCKEFORD STREET THE WE'.EK OF NOVEMBER 9, 1987 TO CALL ATTENTION TO THOSE MISSING IN ANION AND P.O.W.'S FROM WORLD WAR II, THE KOREAN WAR AND VIET NAM RECOMMENDED ACTION: That Council, by motion action, allow the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Lodi Post 1948, to tie red ribbons on all trees on School Street between Lodi Avenue and Lockeford Street, Lodi, during the week of November 9, 1987 to call attention to those missing action and P.O.W.'s from World War IIs the Korean War and Viet Nam. Mr. Leland Fortner, representing the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Lodi Post 1948, has requested that the City Council take action to call attention to those missir•g in action and P.O.W.'s From, 'World War ii, the Korean War and Viet Naifi. As in 1986, specifically the request was to tie red ribbons on all trees on School Street between Lodi Avenue and Lockeford Street. It was requested that the ribbons remain in place during the week of November 9, 1987.
