COUNCIL COMMUNICATION
TO: City Council
FROM: City Manager
DATE: October 11, 1984
SUBJECT: Passenger loading Zone/ST. PAUL'S LUTHERAN CHURCH
RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council take necessary action to abandon an
existing passenger loading zone adjacent to St. Paul's Lutheran Church at
701 South Pleasant Avenue and establish a new zone as shown on the attached
EXHIBIT A.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Trustees of the church have requested the relocation
of the zone because of recent remodeling at the church.
The white paint on the existing zone will either be removed by church members,
or they will pay to have City of Lodi crews do the work.
Since the church is the only property affected by the location, and there will
be no cost to the City of Lodi, the Public Works Department recommends the
request be granted.
