PARKS AND adopted Resolution No. 84-160 awarding the bid for a Turf >R WATUN Truckster for the Parks and Recreation Department to 11. V. Carter (',o.. Inc., in the amount of $5.546.98. RFS. NO. 84-160 M7 RESOLUTION NO. 84-150 D AWARD - BID FOR TURF TRUCKSTER FOR PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened by the City Clerk of this City on Octobar 9, 1984 at 11:00 a.m. for the contract for Turf Truckster for Parks & Recreation Department as described in the specifications therefor approved by the City Council September 19, 1984 and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and, tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows: BIDDER AMOUNT H. V. Carter Co. $5,546.98 Duke Equipment & lrr. $4,567.03 WHEREAS, the low b i d for Duke Equipment and Irrigation Co., did not meet the specification, it is staffs recommendation that the award be made to the second low bidder, H. V. Carter Co. in the amount of $5,546.98. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that award of contract for Turf Truckster be and the same is hereby made to H. V. Carter Co. in the amount of $4,967.03. Bid on Turf Truckster Although Duke Equipment and Irrigation was the low bidder on the Turf Truckster, they did not meet the specifications on two items.
