�� Council was informed that the "Curb and G-itter
Replacement, 700/800 Block South Church and 300
Block East Elm", G7hich was awarded to Case
Construction of Lodi on July 3, 1985, in the
amount of $43,932 has been completed in
substantial conformance with the plans and
specifications approved by the City Council.
The final contract price was $47,164.70. The
difference between the contract amount and the
final contract price is mainly due to widening
existing substandard driveways to a minimum
width of 12 feet and shared costs on additional
sidewalk replacement at a church.
COUNCIL ACCEPTED THE IMPROVEMENTS FOR "CURB
AND GTPITER REPT-ACE ENT, 700/800 BLOCK SOUTH
CHURCH AND 300 BLOCK EAST ECM" AND DIRECTED
THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO FILE A NOTICE OF
COMPLETION WITH THE COUNTY RECORDER'S OFFICE.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements for "Curb h
Gutter Replacement, 700/800 Block South Church and 300 Block East Elm," and
direct the Public Works Director to file a Notice of Completion with the Countv
Recorder's office.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awaro--..d to Case Construction of
Lodi on July 3, 19 5, in the amount of $43,932. The contract has been completed
in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by the City
Council.
The contract completion date was September 12, 1985, and the actual completion
date is October 7, 1985. The final contract price was $47,164.70. The differ-
ence between the contract amount and the final contract price is mainly due to
widening existing substandard driveways to a minimum width of 12' and shared
costs on additional sidewalk replacement at a church.
