FROM: THE CITY MANAG'; OPM OCTOBER 4, 1982 SUBJECT: WAGE AND SALARY BENEFITS FOR FIRE FIGHTERS The Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Lodi and San Joaquin Count; Employees Association - Fire Unit - calls for a 5% general salary increase, plus an incre�sed City contribution to the employee's PERS account, effective the pay period beginning October 11, 1982. It is recommended that the Council adopt the following salary schedules, effective October 11, 1982: It is further recommended Council increase the City's contribution to the employee's PERS account from 6.5% of salary to 9.0% of salary, effective October 11, 1982.
