Salary Increases For Police Officers
RDCOMMUMATION: Council approve the salary increases for sworn police
personnel as shown in Chart I, effective October 7, 1985.
BACKGROUND: The Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Lodi
and the Police Officers Association of Lodi, includes provisions for a
4% across-the-board salary increase for all represented personnel
effective October 7, 1985. Traditionally, the City has granted the
same increases to Mid -management personnel, as to represented
employees. Therefore, the same 4% across-the-board raise would be
appropriate for police sergeants, lieutenants, and captains.

RESOLUTION NO. 85-139
RESOLUTION APPROVING SALARY INCREASES
FOR SWORN POLICE PERSONNEL EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 7, 1985
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lodi does hereby
approve salary increases for sworn police personnel as shown on Exhibit
"A" attached. hereto and thereby made a part hereof, effective October
7, 1985.

adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a Regular
Meeting held October 2, 1985 by the following vote:
