The motion was seconded by Council Member Snider, but failed to pass. A lengthy discussion followed with questions being directed to Staff. Robert Holm Finance Director RH:cag TO THE CITY COUNCIL FROM: THE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE SUBJECT: PURCHASE OF WATTHOUR IVETERS (UD -E85-6) DATE Sept. 23, 1985 On Friday, September 20, 1985, bids were received for the purchase of 672 watthour meters. The meters will be used to meter electric energy usage at the following developments: Tandy Ranch,.Whispering Oaks, Park West Units #4 & #5, Noma Ranch, Rivergate Mokelumne Unit #2, Rivergate Commons, Apartments at Turner Road and Lower Sacramento Road, as well as various smaller developments throughout the City and to maintain an inventory of meters for other needs as they develop. Based on the bids received, it is recommended that the bid be awarded to the lowest bidder, Westinghouse Electric Supply Co., Concord, CA, in the amount of $20,657.28.
