SUBJECT: PLANNING COMMISSION ACTIONS - SEPTEMBER 12, 1983
FOR ACTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
1. Recommended approval of the request of Dan H. Radke, on behalf of the
Emanuel American Lutheran Church to rezone the parcel at 320 South
Ham Lane from R-1, Single -Family Residential to R -GA, Garden Apartment
Residential.
2. Recommended that the City Council certify the filing of a Negative
Declaration as adequate ,environmental documentation on the above
rezoning request.
OF INTEREST TO THE CITY COUNCIL
1. Approved the request of Bennett Development, Inc., for the Tentative
Subdivision Map of Adobe Court, a 13 -lot development proposed for the
east side of South Church Street in an area zoned P -D (22), Planned
Development District No. 22 (i.e. 1900-1902 South Church Street).
2. Recommended that the Sar Joaquin County Planning Commission approve the
request of Kers Clausen on behalf of Goehring Meat Company to reclassify
a 7.89 parcel located at the northeast corner of Clarksdale Road and
East State Route 99 Frontage Road, north of Lodi (19010 N. State Route
99) from GA -40, General Agricultural to M2 -L, General Manufacturing-
Limited.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING
THE CERTIFICATION OF THE FILING
OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION
NOTICE: IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Thursday, October 6, 1983 at
the hour of 8:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be
heard, the Lodi City Council will conduct a public hearing
regarding the Lodi Planning Commission's recommendation that the
Lodi City Council certify the filing of a Negative Declaration by
the Community Development Director as adequate environmental
documentation for the proposed rezoning of the parcel at 320
South Ham Lane from R-1, Single -Family Residential to R -GA,
Garden Apartment Residential.
Information regarding this item may be obtained in the
office of the Community Development Director at 221 West Pine
Street, Lodi, California. All interested persons are invited to
present their views and comments on the Negative Declaration.
Written statements may be filed with the City Clerk at any time
prior to O--tober 6, 1983.

APPROVAL OF THE REQUEST OF DAN H. RADKE, ON
BEHALF OF THE EMANUEL AMERICAN LUTHERAN CHURCH
TO REZONE THE PARCEL AT 320 SOUTH HAM LANE FROM
R-1, SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO R -GA, GARDEN
APARTMENT RESIDENTIAL.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Thursday, October 6,
1983 at the hour of 8:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the
matter may be heard, the Lodi. City Council will conduct a
public hearing in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 221 West
Pine Street, Lodi, California, to consider the recommended
approval of the request of Dan H. Radke, on behalf of the
Emanuel American Lutheran Church to rezone the parcel at 320
South Ham Lane from R-1, Single -Family Residential to R -GA,
Garden Apartment Residential.
Information regarding this item may be obtained in the
office of the Community Development Director at 221 West Pine
Street, Lodi, California. All interested persons are invited
to present their views either for or against the above
proposal. Written statements may be filed with the City Cleric
at any time prior to the hearing scheduled herein and oral
statements may be made at said hearing.
