the Following changes in curb markings at Erma Reese School as shoran on the

loading and unloading zone located west of Loma Drive, upon
the receipt of $44; from the School District.
2. Convert an existing passenger loading and unloading zone
located east of Loma Drive to a Bus Zone.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The 243 foot passenger zone was installed in April,

Curb Paint Changes
Dear Jack,
In November/December 1982, the Counsel approved curb paint
changes at Reese School aimed at allowing more on -street
parking. The sand blasting was never completed.
Over the last year a number of traffic problems have been noted.
The solution appears to relate to the bus traffic. The principal,
Boyd Barth, has consulted with the Transportation Director and
proposes a repainting of the red. He did not specifically talk
to me about the white curb versus no -color.
Please accept this letter as a request for reconsideration of
the curb painting. May I suggest that you communicate directly
with the principal, Mr. Barth.
Thank you very much for your assistance.
Sincerely,
9?ia--""
