I7,- 1986 SUBJECT: Award Bid to Furnish and.Deliver One Parking Enforcement Vehicle The bid opening to furnish and deliver one parking enforcement vehicle is scheduled for Monday, September 15. Once the bids have been reviewed, a Council Communication will be prepared with staff recommendation concerning the award. Robert H. FROW THE, CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE September 17, 1986 SUBJECT: w Bid to Furnish and Deliver One Parking Enforcement Vehicle RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council award the bid to furnish and deliver one parking enforcement vehicle to J. M. Lift Trucks, Inc. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: At its meeting of September 3, 1986, the City Council approved specifications for a parking enforcement vehicle and authorized the advertising for bids thereon. Funds have been approved in the 1986-87 adopted Budget for replacement of this parking enforcement vehicle. Following is a tabulation of the bids: Price Delivery Supplier Incl. Tax Da s) Brand J. M. Holm, Finance Director RHH/ss 30-45 Cushman Immediately Cushman RESOLUTION NO.86-140 AWARD - PARKING ENFORCEMENT VEHICLE WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the orc--r of this City Council, sAaled bids were received and publicly opened by the City Clerk of this City on September 15, 1986 at 11:00 a.m. for the contract for Parking Fnforcement Vehicle, described in the specifications therefor approved by the City Council September 3 1986; and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows: Bidder Amount J. M. Lift Trucks $6,808.38. Turf and Industrial Equipment Co. $8,465.16 Golden Bear Equipment $7,155.00 WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award for the contract for Parking Enforcement Vehicle be made to the low bidder, J. M. Lift Trucks. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that award of contract for Paring Enforcement Vehicle be and the same is hereby made to J. M. Lift Trucks, the low bidder, in the amount of $6,808.38.
