1C -7(r) Congress of Cities to be held in Las Vegas December 119 -
16, 1987.

DESIGNATION OF VOTING AND ALTERNA T� VOTING DELEGAT=S, ANNUAL CONGRESS OF CITIES
The National League of Cities Annual Congress of Cities will be held this year
December 12 - 16, 1987 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The voting membership adopts the National Municipal Policy and elects the
League's officers and new members of the Board of Directors at the Wednesday,
December 16, 1987 annual business meeting.
Under the bylaws of the National League of Cities, each direct member city is
entitled to cast from one to twenty votes, depending upon the city's
population, through its designated voting delegate at the annual business
meeting of the Congress of Cities. (Cities of under 50,000 population are
entitled to cast one vote).
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
That the City Council, by motion action, designate the voting and alternate
voting delegates for the Annual Congress of Cities to be held in Las Vegas,
Nevada.
