SUBJECT: Acceptance of "MSC Improvements, Phase 11111 Contract
R£COMM£NOEO ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements for the
above mentioned project and direct the Public Works Director to file a Notic e
of Completion with the County Recorder's Office.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to Case Construction Company
6 on June 3. 1931, in the amount of $50,222.00. The contract has been
completed in substantial conformance with the pians and specifications approved
by the City Council.
The contract completion date was August 15, 1981, and the actual completion
date is September ;, 1981. The final contract price was $49,700.50. The
difference between the contract amount and the final contract price is due
to the actual quantity of concrete used in the construction of the storage
bins. j )
