41 REAS, Richard L. Ilughes was a Mayor and Counci lmw of the
City of Lodi, and a member of this Commission for many years,
and the Chairman of this Cimmission during the period from
Septenber 1. 1976 to September 13, 1878; and
%MEAS, during his service tin the WH City Council and on
this O mnission. he contributed greatly to the
accatplishments of this Agency, and was held in the highest
esteem by the other commissioners, the staff of the Agency.
and all others who dealt with him; and
%HMEAS. the Agency, as a part of its Owbustion Turbine
Project One, is planning to construct a ccarbustion turbine
facility in the City of Lodi. and desires to honor the memory
of its former Ccumissioner.
NOW, TH RIMME, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C 1CbM1 SS ICN OF THE
NICIMO 1 CALIFUNIA PC W R ACMCY, as follows-

Section 1. Th..e ccmbustion turbine facility planned for Lodi
shall be named the "Richard L. Hughes Generating Station" in
honor of Commissioner Hughes.
Section 2. Upon the coapletion completionof c=is•► ruc tion of such

facility, the Chairman of this Agency, with the assistance of
the General hVffmger and the staff, arrange an appropriate
ceremony for affixing and dedicating a plaque in the
location, which shall contain the name herein designated and
a suitable tribute.
