AMENDED SUBDIVISION- w
MAP FOR WHISPERING
OAKS, UNIT NO. 1,
APPROVED
Council approved the Amended Subdivision Map for
Whispering Oaks, Unit #l, Tract 1924, and
directed the City Manager and City Clerk to
execute the subject map on behalf of the City.
Council was apprised that the Matthews Company,
developer of this subdivision, earlier furnished
the City with improvement plans, agreement,
guarantees, insurance certificates and necessary
fees for the original map. During construction it
was determined that 40 -foot lots were not in
the best interest of the developer and he
obtained approval of the Planning Commission and
the various utilities for the amendment to
convert the subdivision to 50 -foot lots.
Some additional fees have been required which
have been paid.
The subdivision is located on the north side of
Century Blvd inTnediately east of the Woodbridge
Irrigation District Canal and contains a total of
100 single family lots instead of the 120
originally platted. Construction has been
underway for some time and they expect to have
the subdivision ready for acceptance at the next
Council rneetincr.

SUBJECT: Amended Subdivision Map
Whispering Oaks, Unit #1
RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council approve the Amended Subdivision
Map for Whispering Oaks, Unit #l, Tract 1924, and direct the City Manager and
City Clerk to execute the map on behalf of the City.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Matthews Company, developer of this subdivision,
earlier furnished the City with improvement plans, agreements, guarantees,

RESOLU.rION ACCEPTING THE SUBDIVISION LVIPROVaENrS AND STREETS
INCLUDED IN TRACT MAP NO. 1924, WHISPERING OAKS,
UNIT NO. 1 (AM_aDED)
The City Council of the City of Lodi finds:
1. That all requirements of Chapter 22 of the Code of the City of
Lodi have been complied with in connection with the improvements of Tract
Map No. 1924, which map was filed September 24, 1985, in volume 27, Page
54, Book of Maps and Plats, San Joaquin County Records.
2. That the offer to dedicate time streets hereinafter has not been
revoked.
