HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - September 3, 1986 (90)CI'T'Y COUNCIL MEETING SEPTEMBER 3, 2986 'y r rt POLICE DEPARTMENT CCMPLIMMI'PID ON HANDLING OF RECENT INCIDENT AT LCOI LAIC PARK Council Member Pinkerton catmended the Lodi Police Department on their handling of a recent incident at Lodi CC -9 Lake Park. Council Member Pinkerton indicated his concern \ CC -24(b) on how the City could protect its citizens frau this type l CC -27(c) of incident and expressed concern as to how the City could regulate attendance and conduct within the park. Council Member Snider spoke on the matter indicating that he felt this should be referred to the Parks and Recreations C mission. Following additional discussion regarding City Parks and recreational facilities, the scope of visitors and users, and the cost to the City to maintain and operate these facilities, it was suggested that Staff contact the County of San Joaquin for funding their fair share of City Parks and Recreation activities.
