This is not right and I request that_the ` city, of Lodi correct this situation. :. I have been -told that_ approval has been ,give„ to: trim :the Oleanders if' the:, property owners `would pay'. the cost of their triming and then'a1s0 malritain them in'the`future — am.-*,-sure....- m burs..that thatyou all realize how this ignores the issue: of safety \: and stimulation of ` , ocel business. The chance of organizing; all the affected business owners and comirg_.to a`fair'assess- ry ment for each would be a► project from which the city `would ==--` receive -a lot of bad pv53icity, al^ng with "many claims of unfairness. Yet even so, I am now and wr1l be in the future willing to pay a reasora:ble amount it this e3 wra. it will take to create a saf ,r traffic area and a better business climate for South Cherokee Lane.
