SUBJECT: Railroad Grade Crossing Protection at Ham Lane
RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council adopt a resolution approving
Program Supplement No. 17 to the Local Agency -State Agreement and authorize
the City Manager and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City of Lodi.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This agreement is for the Installation of railroad
grade crossing protect on at Ham Lane. The improvements will be made by
Southern Pacific Railroad Company and Include the installation of automatic
gates with cantilevered flashing lights to replace the existing warning
devices.
Federal funds cover 90% of the project cost. The City is responsible for
10%, which is estimated to be $8,725. TDA funds*in the amount of $8,000
have been budgeted for the project. A special allocation for an additional
$725 will be eded.

RESOLUTION APPROVING PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT NO. 17
THE LOCAL AGENCY -STATE AGREEMENT (RAILROAD GRADE
CROSSING PROTECTION AT HAM LANE) AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAME
ON BF11ALF OF viE CITY OF 1,0DI.
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lodi does
hereby approve State of California Program Supplement No. 17
to the Local Agency -State Agreement (Railroad Grade Crossing
Protection at Ham Lane) a copy of which is attached hereto marked
Exhibit "A" and thereby made a part hereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Lodi does hereby authorize the City Manager and City Clerk
to execute the subject documents on behalf of the City.
