I BACKGROUND -INFORMATION: The construction of a 30''' and 24" storm drain in Main Street was approved in the 1981/82 Capital Improvement Budget.with an estimated expenditure of $86,000. In general, the work consists.of replacing undersized storm drains to reduce flooding during heavy storms. A second phase of this project --Elm Street Storm Drain, Main to Washington --will be proposed In a future CA * P. Budget. The project estimate is lower than the budget estimate because some curb and gutter work planned for this phase is being deleted from the project.
