Budget: 1981-82 Fund: Water Capital Outlay Amount Budgeted: $90,000 (Total Project) Total Project Estimate: $30,000 (Phase I) Bid Opening Date: May 22, 1985- RECOMMENDED 985 RECOMMENDED ACTION_: That the City Council accept the improvements in "Church Street Watermain, Vine Street to 900' N/Vine Street", and direct the Public Works Director to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office. BACKGROUND INFOkMATION: The contract was awarded- to Bowers Company of Stockton on May 29, 1985, in the amount of $27,080. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by the City Council. The contract completion date was July 18, 1985, and the actual completion date is August 7-- 1985. The final contract price $26,913.95. Jack L. Budget: 1985 Fund: Gas Tax Amount Budgeted: $35,200 Total Project Estimate: $35,200 Bid Opening Date: July 3, 1985 RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements in "Main Street Overlay, Lockeford Street to Lawrence Avenue", and dir^:t the Public Works Director to file a Notice of Completion with .the County Recorder's office. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to Claude C. Wood Company of Lodi on July 3, 1985, in the amount of $33,395.00. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by the City Council. The contract completion date was September 10, 1985, and the actual completion . date is August 9, 1985. The final contract price was $30,017.50. The difference between the contract amount and the final contract price is due to a difference in actual asphaltic concrete compared to calculated quantity. t / c L.
