NO. 1390 ADOPTEC Ordinance No. 1390 - An Ordinance Amending Section 10.12.020 and 10.12.030 of the City Code of the City of CC-45(a) Lodi, Thereby Amending Speed Limits on Certain Streets CC-48(a) Within the City of Lodi, having been introduced at a Reqular Meetinq of the Lodi City Council held August 6, 1986, was brought up for passage on motion of Council �`- Member Snider, Olson second. Second reading of the Ordinance was then emitted after reading by title, and the Ordinance was then adopted and ordered to print by the following vote: Ayes: Council Members - Olson, Snider, and RVid (Mayor) Noes: Council Members - Hinchman Absent: council Members - Pinkerton CALTNCIL CQ111MLNICATIO, TO: THE CITY COUNCIL DATE NO. FROM: THE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE - L I AUGUST 20 1986 SUBJECT: ADOPTICN OF ORDINANCE NO. 1390 An Ordinance of the City of Lodi Amending Sections 10.12.020 and 10.12.030 of the City Code of the City of Lodi, Thereby Amending Speed Limits on Certain Streets Within the City of Lodi On August 6, 1986 Council introduced Ordinance No. 1390 - An Ordinance of the City of Lodi Amending Sections 10.12.020 and 10.12.030 of the City Code of the City of Lodi Thereby Amending Speed Limits on Certain Streets Within the City of Lodi. This ordinance has been approved as to form by the City Attorney. ACTION: Following reading by title, it would be appropriate for the Lodi City Council to adopt Ordinance No. 1390. ORDINANCE N0. 1390 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IADI AMENDING SDCPIONS 10.12.020 AND 10.12.030 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF LODI, TfIEREBY UPDATING SPEED LIMITS ON CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF IADI The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. It is hereby determined upon the pis of an engineering and traffic investigation that the speed permitted by state law upon the following streets is hereby setforth, and it is hereby declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be as hereinafter set forth on those streets or parts of streets herein designed when signs are erected giving notice thereof. a) California Street from Lockeford Street to Turner Road, thirty miles per hour b) Ham Lane from Vine Street to Turner Road, thirty five miles per hour c) Ham Lane from Harney Lane to Century Boulevard, thirty five miles per hour d) Irma Drive from Elm Street to Turner Road, thirty miles per hour e) Stockton Street from Lockeford Street to Turner Road, thirty five miles per hour f) Stockton Street from Tokay Street to Lockeford Street, thirty miles per hour g) Turner Road from West of City Limit to Church Street, thirty five miles per hour SECTION 2. It is hereby further determined upon the basis of an engineering and traffic investigation that the speed permitted by state law upon the following streets is hereby amended, and it is hereby declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be as hereinafter set forth on those streets or parts of streets herein designed when signs are erected giving notice thereof. a) Brandywine Drive from Ham Lane to Hutchins street, thirty five miles per hour b) Church Street from Century Boulevard to Kettleman Lane, thirty miles per hour c) Eilers Lane from Woodhaven Way to Lower Sacramento Road, thirty miles per hour d) Stockton Street frcm Kettleman pane to Tokay Street, thirty five miles per hour e) Stockton Street from South of City Limit to Kettleman Lane, forty five miles per hour Section 3. This ordinance shall be published one time in the "Lodi News Sentinel", a daily newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi and shall be in force and take effect thirty days from and after its passage and approva.L.
