Community Development Director Schroeder, who"
then responded to questions as were posed by
the Council.
Following discussion, on motion of Mayor Pro
Tempore Murphy, Katnich second, Council, by the
following vote, voted not to approve the Wood-
bridge School Reorganization, including annexa-
tion to the City of Lodi and detachment from
the Woodbridge Rural Fire Protection District:
Ayes: Councilmen - Murphy
Noes: Councilmen - Katnich, Pinkerton, and
McCarty
Absent: Councilmen - Hughes

Re: Resolution No. 519 Approving the Woodbridge School Reorganization
(LAFC 19-81), Including Annexation to the City of Lodi and
Detachment from Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District
Gentlemen:
We hereby transmit a certified copy of this Commission's Resolution No. 519
approving the above entitled proposal and authorizing the City of Lodi
to conduct subsequent proceedings.
Upon successful completion of City proceedings, the City must request that
LAFCo execute and file a Certificate Vf Completion and State of Boundary
Change. Such request must be accompanied by six. certified copies of your
resolution ordering the boundary change and a check payable to the State
Board of Equalization covering its filing fee.

BEFORE THE LOCAL AGENCY FORt• AMON COMM-IISSION OF SIGN JOAQUIN COUNTe
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE WOODBRIDG E SCHOOL REORGANIZATION (L. -.Fc 19 --al)
INCLUDING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LODI AND DETACHMENT FROM
WOODBRIDGE RURAL COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the above entitled proposal was initiated by
Resolution of the City of Lodi, and on June 9, 1981, the Executive
Officer certified the application. filed for processing in accordance
with the District Reorganization Act; and,
WHEREAS, the Commission held a public hearing on the proposed
reorganization on July 17, 1981, in the Board of Supervisors
Chambers, County Courthouse, pursuant to notice of hearing which
was published, posted and mailed in accordance with State law;
and,
WHEREAS, at said hearing the Commission heard and received
evidence, both oral and documentary, submitted in favor of and in
opposition to the proposed reorganization and all persons present
were given an opportunity to hear and be heard in respect to any
matter relating to said proposal;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Local Agency Formation Commission of San
Joaquin County DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. The above entitled reorganization is approved
subject to the terms and conditions contained herein.
Section 2. The boundaries are hereby approved as amended,
said boundaries being set forth in Exhibit "A".
Section 3. The affected territory is uninhabited.
Section 4. The Woodbridge School Reorganization shall not be
completed prior to completion of the Eilers Reorganization (LAFC 18-81).
Section S. The City of Lodi is designated as the conducting
agency and is authorized to complete proceedings for uninhabited
reorganization without public notice and:hearing by the City Council
,pursuant to Section 56439.5 of the District Re- —ganization Act.
Section 6. The Executive Officer is hereby authorized and
directed to mail and file certified copies of this Resolution as
required by Section 56272 of the Government Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of July, 1981, by the following
vote of the Local Agency Formation Commission of San Joaquin County,
to wit:

WOODBRIDGE SCHOOL REORGANIZATION
TO THE CITY OF LODI
August 3, 1981
A portion of the Southeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 4 North,
Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and meridian, being described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the South one-half of said South -
east Quarter; thence North 890 43' 00" East along the North line of the South
one-half of said Southeast Quarter, 559.34 feet to the West line of 100 foot
wide LILAC STREET, being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence Northerly -along
said West line of LILAC STREET 580 feet, more or less. to the Westerly projection
of the South line of ACADEMY STREET; thence Easterly along said Westerly pro-
jection and South line, and .long the Easterly projection of said South line,
940 feet to the East line of 100 foot wide LOWER SACRAMENTO ROAD; thence Southerly
along said East line 400 feet, more or less, to aforesaid North line of the South
one-half of the Southeast Quarter, being on the Lodi City Limits line; thence
South 890 43' 00" West along said North line, being along said City Limits line,
100.85 feet to the West line of said LOWER SACRAMENTO ROAD; thence leaving said
City Limits line, and continue South 89° 43' 00" West along said north line 150.00
feet to the northeast corner of -that certain parcel of land described in deed. to
Woods School District of San Joaquin County, recorded in Volume 1756, page 421,
Book of Official Records of San Joaquin County; thence along the boundary of said
School District parcel the following three (3) courses: (1) South 70 12' 00" West,
285.40 feet, (2) South 89° 43' 00" West, 622.24 feet to the East line of 80 foot
wide LILAC STREET, and (3) North 90 48' 30" East along said East line 287.47 feet
to aforesaid North line of the South one-half of the Southeast Quarter; thence
South 89° 43' 00" West along said North line, 91.42 feet to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING.
Containing 14.7 acres, more or less.

Please be advised that the heretofore referenced resolution was
presented to the Lodi City Council at its regular meeting held
August 19, 1981. Following a lengthy discussion, by motion
action, the Lodi City Council voted not to approve the Wood-
bridge School reorganization including annexation to the City
of Lodi and detachment from the Woodbridge Rural County Fire
Protection District.
